Arrowtown
I came to this lookout on Grand Ridge Rd overlooking Arrowtown the day before but the light wasn't ideal so I decided to drive past again on my way back to the Aoraki/Mt Cook national park to see what the light was doing. I'm pleased I did, the light was much better early in the morning unlike the midday light of the previous day.
It really surprised me at how popular this lookout is, there were heaps of people pulling up to take photos in the short time I was there. Arrowtown is a beautiful place, I would have liked to spend a bit of time exploring it more and take in all of the autumn colours.
