I can&#39;t believe the reach I can get with the Tamron 600mm lens, it is incredible! I was hoping to be able to get a sunset shot, but the weather became too bad with so much fog that I couldn&#39;t see the mountains.<\/p>\n\nI came across the title Lugburz through the name of the song on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=wtb53WAg3ws\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"Summoning - Lugburz\">Summoning<\/a> album Minas Morgul, who&#39;s music plays a huge influence on my photography. Lugburz means &quot;Dark Tower&quot; in the Black Speech of Mordor and is commonly applied to the tower of Barad-d&ucirc;r in J. R. R. I&#39;m pleased I did, the light was much better early in the morning unlike the midday light of the previous day.<\/p>\n\nIt really surprised me at how popular this lookout is, there were heaps of people pulling up to take photos in the short time I was there. The battery ran out at the end so I&rsquo;m pleased the camera recorded the image! It was a sunny day so the light wasn&rsquo;t ideal with lots of really bright sunny areas and dark shadows.
