Portrait of the Moon
The sky was still quite blue when I photographed the moon, but because the moon is so bright the sky came out black in the photo due to a quick shutter speed. I can't believe the reach I can get with the Tamron 600mm lens, it is incredible! I used the 2X Teleconverter with this photo, effectively turning the 600mm lens into a 1200mm lens.
I think the moon during it's phases makes a much more interesting photo than a full moon, the side lighting really brings out the depth in the terrain on the moon.
