This Blue Cap Toadstool (Entoloma hochstetteri) was photographed at Lake Matheson in New Zealand. I have never seen a toadstool like this before so it was great to be able to photograph it, the colour was amazing and so vibrant.

I was also on the lookout for a purple toadstool which I saw in a New Zealand Fungi book, but unfortunately I never came across one. The south island of New Zealand is definitely a great place for fungi lovers, there were so many Fly Agaric fungi (Amanita muscaria) too!
