Lake Matheson
It was an early start for this shot. I was staying at Franz Joseph and had to drive back to Fox Glacier to get to Lake Matheson, which is nicknamed the 'Mirror Lake', then a cold 30 minute walk to get to the location.
The morning started out foggy, but thankfully that cleared to produce an amazing scene, though I would have liked some clouds to provide a bit of interest in the sky. The two snow covered mountains are Mt Tasman on the left and Mt Cook on the right (please correct me if I am wrong).
